Senior Ecologist Positions

Ecotone Ecological Consultants Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned, long established and well respected specialist ecological consulting firm currently based in NSW. Recent interest in our services from other parts of Australia has led to plans for expansion into other Australian States and Territories using our proven systems to achieve excellent employee relations and provide clients with exceptional service.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified and experienced Ecologists to fill senior positions in new offices around Australia. Applicants will have a thorough knowledge of the ecology of the Flora and Fauna within their own Australian State or Territory and thorough knowledge of the relevant Environmental and Planning legislation.

The Senior Ecologists will need to be self motivated and resourceful in order to get the new state offices up and running quickly, so that we can service the needs of private developers and all levels of government for biodiversity surveys, impact assessment and independent advice for projects ranging from small development proposals through to large infrastructure projects such as pipelines, highways, mines, wind farms, etc.

Good written and oral communication skills are essential in order to assist with promoting our services to prospective clients and preparing thorough written reports that meet the requirements of the regulatory authorities. Previous Project Management experience for ecological impact assessment work is highly desirable.
